Assessment Centre
Hollywood Private Hospital's Assessment Centre primarily treats cardiac patients but also accepts admissions of acutely unwell medical and surgical patients once their care has been accepted by one of our accredited specialists.
Patients experiencing chest pain can come to the Centre during opening hours where they will be assessed and admitted if necessary to either the Cardiology Ward or to the Coronary Care Unit. The Centre is designed to enable a more timely and appropriate admission process for patients who are too unwell to be admitted to Hollywood Private Hospital through the standard admissions process.
Our Facility
Our Assessment Centre has four acute bays, three recovery bays and the latest GE Healthcare monitoring systems.
Opening Hours
Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 9.30pm
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays - 9.30am to 9.30pm
The Centre has 24-hour coverage through an on call cardiologist.
